Hi there, we give glory to God for His unfailing love and for keeping us safe. It’s been six months since we were hit by the virus but by the grace of God we are still alive and kicking. I must say that, although Covid-19 has brought a lot of scare and most of us are gripped with fear, God is so close and faithful and we need not panic as we keep praying and observing all protocols. I saw the above picture on someone’s timeline and my heart ached as I looked quietly at the picture. So I decided to post it on my blog.
Let’s take a closer look at those children, how do you see them? Don’t they look malnourished? If I may ask are they an annoyance or inconvenience? Please pause and think about it and let’s pray for under privileged children. Don’t you think they need proper care and something more than paper face mask?
Wherever they are, they are God’s and little children are a big concern to Him.
“Some children were brought to Jesus so he could lay his hands on them and pray for them. The disciple told them not to bother him. But Jesus said “let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these”. And he put his hands on their heads and blessed them before he left”. Mathew 19:13-15.
Jesus wanted little children to come to him because he loves them and they have a guileless trust in God.
Obviously the world has changed and we have all adapted to this situation due to the pandemic. Let’s all try our possible best not to neglect children who need our love and support.
God bless you all.
Much love.
