Hi there, I’m always excited to come your way. I trust you are wonderfully doing well and keeping safe. Folks, today I want us to ponder over this six letter word, “CHANGE”!
As the saying goes, Change is inevitable. Whether we like it or not Change is part of life. It helps us to grow and refocus. Sometimes change can be uncomfortable and difficult in the beginning, but in the end if you embrace it with a humble heart, it can lead you to success. In actual fact the world has changed.
Most often when change occurs, some people don’t embrace it. They rather fight it and never remain humble. If you become bitter and negative, you don’t see the hand of God.
Joseph is a perfect example. He was the loved and favorite child of his father. Just one day without warning, his life changed. Amidst jealousy, he was sold by his brothers and found himself in a strange land. However, he had a good spirit and was very humble.
Joseph went through all the challenges, however, he behaved himself well and God raised him to a higher seat. It was a painful and difficult change but Joseph endured.
Sadly the year 2020 has been a challenging one with Covid-19.
A brief history on Covid-19 by Holmes:
“According to scientists, it is likely Covid-19 originated in bats. In the public mind, the origin story of coronavirus seems well fixed in late 2019. Individuals in Wuhan were infected with a virus from an animal. The story Holmes worked on suggested that the scenario in which a human at the Wuhan market interacted with an animal that carried the virus was only one potential version of the Covid-19 story. Another was the possibility that a descendant of the virus jumped into humans and then adapted as it was passed from human to human”.
Little did we know that it would become a pandemic which is beyond human comprehension. Many have died and many have been orphaned and widowed. Sadly others have lost their jobs and quite a number of workers have been urged to work from home. Some have also relocated.
To reduce the spread of the virus, health experts from World Health Organisation have advised that it is risky to be in large groups.
There have been restrictions on all social activities. Social distancing, face masking etcetera. Weddings and other activities are different now. Private burial with few people are recommended. With a limited number of guests, others got married and are still getting married. Well, coming to think of it, it has helped those who couldn’t afford extravagant weddings and funerals. Oh what a great change! Things are not the same as they were.
Most of us never knew about Zoom Company. Now their company is on top. Almost everybody uses Zoom for conferences, meetings, weddings, graduation etcetera.
In the midst of this pandemic, some businesses are booming and making it big. A lot more people are patronizing Ghana rice.
I testify of a banker who lost his job painfully. Within six months he was introduced to commerce. Today he is a millionaire.
Someone’s destiny was transformed when his parents divorced and he went to live with his friends. Initially it was devastating but God through his friends gradually brought him to where he was destined to be.
In this life nothing remains the same forever. God has a purpose for our lives and if there’s a change challenge, never lose hope, tight up and face that change head on. By prayer and a deep sense of humility, You will definitely emerge a winner. God is our helper and He will see us through.
There shall surely be a restoration.
Let’s keep the faith and observe all safety protocols.
