Hi folks, its been a while and I miss you all. I have been a little busy, however, I want to encourage you with a true story my pastor shared on air. I trust you are all doing wonderful.
A lady was travelling in a bus from Kumasi to Lome. As they approached the outskirts of the town, their bus was ambushed by a notorious gang of armed robbers. The passengers trembled in fear and everyone was asked to get down in turns as the robbers took away their monies, phones and other valuable items at gun point. Others fell to the ground defenseless. It was almost the turn of this lady to hand over her bag. Quite a number of people had given her money to purchase various goods for them. Shaking like a leaf with a hunching shoulders, her stomach fluttered as her heart beat elevated, but she prayed silently.
“God remember me and how faithfully I have served and supported in furtherance of your work”. The moment she lifted up her bag to give it out to the robbers, suddenly, there was a siren screaming throughout the surrounding, “Wee-oww- Wee- oww- Wee-oww”. The robbers thought it was a police patrol team so they took to their heels with the stolen items. Halleluyah!!
Lo and behold it was a motor hearse conveying a corpse to his hometown.
God heard her prayers and rescued her. What do you think would have happened to this lady for losing such a huge amount of money? Your guess is as good as mine.
Never relent in whatever you’re doing. Whether you’re helping someone, or working for the Lord or supporting your pastor or as a foster parent taking care of others.God sees the heart and listens to our prayers and at the right time He will show up. The good book says in Colossians 3:23, “And whatever ye do, do it heartily, as unto the Lord and not unto men”.
Beloved, it is a great thing to serve the Lord and he will never fail us. Let’s ponder of this true story and live for God.
God bless us all. Thanks for your attention.
I love you all. We’re a family.
