“The future of every society is in the hands of good mothers, wives and good women. When Eve fell, the entire world fell. If she had been enabled to stand, the world would not have fallen. The struggles that accompany the role of a wife, mother and a woman are what women go through everyday, quite often “without” the “Adams” as happened in the Garden of Eden” Rev. Gabriel Ansah.
Motherhood is a blessing and a big privilege to shape a life. Motherhood is not supposed to be only giving birth to your own biological children.
It is the ability to love and drawing others closer to you.
To show kindness to others.
To have compassion for people.
To improve the lives of others.
To train and raise children into responsible adulthood.
It’s a great feeling to become a mother. Though, a daunting responsibility; God gives the grace and it comes with great reward. Society has accepted all forms of motherhood, whether giving birth to your own children, or adopting a child, or mothering a friend’s or a family member’s child or someone carrying your baby for you. Honestly, I honour and appreciate it. We all have different challenges when it comes to motherhood but one comforting statement I have for you is that, every woman or mother is precious.
We shouldn’t relent in our efforts. In all things we should ask God for strength and help, so as to win in our daily battles, and try to make positive impart on our families and the communities in which we live in. I will share my experience in my next episode when I became a mother for the first time.
