Hello lovely people, I trust you are all keeping safe and observing all protocols to fight Covid-19. Generally speaking this pandemic has become a burden and there’s no way one would talk without mentioning it. Though 2020 has been a challenging year, there are good news as well.
The above picture took me aback to my formative years and I remember vividly some people I knew who had nothing and went through this kind of life, and now productive today. Praise God!
Long time ago, I recall we lived in a big bungalow with most of our relatives around. My daddy, siblings, cousins, grandma, stepmother etc. Although we lived in a community more of a social class, there were few underprivileged families around. We all played together and sometimes escorted our friends to their homes.
Our childhood and friendship experience was so nice and exciting. We were like brothers and sisters. Our parents were not left out. They feared God and loved everyone. In time past, discipline was key and you dare not complain. To be honest, some of our underprivileged friends went through life the hard way, however, by Christian virtues and the grace of God, their lives were shaped into responsible adults.
Many of us looking good today, went through this life as shown above. A lady I know, born and bred in the village, had parents who were farmers and you can imagine what she went through. Today, she is a medical doctor. We cannot underestimate the love and mercies of God.
We the parents have the obligation to ensure that the children God has given us will fulfill their God given purpose no matter what.
With good parenting and God’s grace, this boy’s upbringing can shape his whole life and can become a somebody someday. Thanks for your attention.
God bless us all.
