Hello great people, it’s always a pleasure to come your way. Well how has your week been? I have had a number of shocking news these past few weeks and I feel awful. First quarter of 2020, but too many deaths. Oh My God!
We just buried a friend’s daughter, she was 18 and still have three more burials to attend. They are all special people in my life. In the middle of typing this stuff, I had a text from a school mate that, one of our friends passed yesterday in the US. He was very strong and energetic. With all the declarations that 2020 will be a good year , what’s happening? I’m scared! Oh God have mercy!
I take this opportunity to encourage ourselves in the Lord. That we should allow love to lead and forgive one another, for we don’t know what tomorrow brings. Living peaceably with everyone is what God requires of us. Picking up a fight and causing confusion should not be our story. We should make conscious efforts to be peace makers as the good books recount in Romans 12:18.
This reminds me of a post my Pastor and Mentor placed on Facebook recently.
“Life must be lived with humility, simplicity, serenity and contentment. There’s nothing to prove”. (1 Tim 6)
Let’s ponder over this statement and see how best we can make it happen practically in our lives.
Let’s pray for God’s help!
Let’s serve God well!
Let’s ask the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us.
Let’s always plead the blood of Jesus to cover and speak on our behalf.
Last but not the least, let us not forget that our greatest Wealth is our Health!
But you, O Lord, are a merciful and gracious God.
Full of unfailing love and truth.
We thank you for the promise that all the suffering on this earth shall come to an end.
Look down and have mercy upon us
For we are weak but you’re strong
That you will deliver us from the hands of the evil one and help us live for you in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Pray God listens!
God bless us all!
